Since more and more vehicle manufacturers have implemented a Secure Gateway Module (SGW), much like a “firewall”, to protect vehicle networks, only licensed diagnostic tools with internet access are compliant to unlock the SGW’s tester authentication process to perform particular diagnostic functions. When gateway is in security mode, command for some function such as service function, active test, coding will be blocked by security gateway, thus there will be no response to the command, therefore it is needed to unlock security gateway to perform those function.

For the purchase of the SGW license, there are two flexible options. One allows the separate purchase of FCA, Renault, Nissan, and Benz SGW, enabling you to choose according to your needs.
